About Nolin

Hi, I'm Nolin. Welcome to my page!

I am the Founder and Owner of TheLeslieviller.com.

I am also a local Leslieville Real Estate Representative with Right At Home Realty Inc., Brokerage. If you're planning to buy or sell in the area, or know someone who is, be sure to ask me about my Friends & Family Referral Program.

What I love most about Leslieville is how the residents and merchants live and work side-by-side and have personal relationships with one another. We have a few corporate entities in the area like major grocery chains and a coffee chain, but all of our locally owned and operated businesses do very well and offer top notch products and services to both their neighbours and Torontonians who come to our neighbourhood from across the city.

I always love hearing your stories about how TheLeslieviller.com fits into your Leslieville experiences, so please feel free to share in the public comments here on my page or in a private note.

If you're looking for information about advertising on TheLeslieviller.com or my real estate services, please email nolin@leslieviller.com or call 416-800-8007.

See you online and on the street!

Hi Nolin,

Along the lines of snapping photos of scammers, did you ever hear about the women in New York who were harassed by subway perverts a few years ago? One of them started a website where women could post cell phone photos they snapped of subway pervs. The last I heard, the number of indecent acts on NYC's transit system went way down.

Hi Nolin:

I've sold my house and am moving, so I won't be able to help plan the Stomp. If there's anything you'd like to know from last year's organizing, just ask, otherwise, have a great event!

Best,
Maia

Thanks a lot. I also run Labspace Studio with my partner Laura Mendes http://www.labspacestudio.com. We are very keen on working with the Leslieville community to get more happening in the area.

Drop me a line whenever you'd like.

Cheers

Hi Nolin:

This website is great.

I am excited about the Leslieville Stomp and would like to particpate. I am not sure how to post on the events part of the Leslieville Stomp website. I would like to offer a free yoga class, draw for a private class and a discount to anyone that purchases class cards.

Thank-you.

Nolin - Just a note of thanks from a fellow Leslieviller for setting up this site; it's a great contribution to the community that we check it for all kinds of things including local reviews and community issues. Thanks so much, John

Hi Nolin, I'm a complete zombie when it comes to making a posting on here! Could I send it to you? I don't know how else to post it. I'm a cellist, on Winnifred, currently playing cello in Melancholy Play at summerworks (closes Sat.10:30) and I'm putting together two shows with my quartet just down the street at Labspace- 2A Pape. It's an amazing local venue, the next show is next Thursday 20th, at 8pm. more info is on my website at www.cellojuice.com We are mainly improvisors, guitar, cello, keys and horns. Please put this in your book and come out to this great show. My 7-year old will be working the door, so other people's kids are welcome too...:)

Yet another question: is this a ratepayers association (which has some implications, including that it is solely homeowners or owners of business locations) or a residents association (which has a different set of implications: that it is only peopl…

I confess, I feel mislead about the sheet I received, which indicated the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the TTC yard and the route to it. I threw it out: so I am simply going on memory, but do not recall the page indicating in any way that t…

Carolyn, I found the meeting notice in a pile of papers this evening. You're very correct in your assessment. The first paragraph mentions forming a Leslieville Residents Association, but the only concern mentioned by group is the TTC yard. If the…

Funny how early on you stated "I hope this has helped clarify the objectives. We are still in the early stages (less that 24 hours ago!) and I will be happy to update as we go. We will also have a website to help keep residents up to date on our pr…

I received the notice of this meeting, and it certainly didn't leave me with the impression that this was a meeting about starting a residents association. It was very much positioned as a meeting about the streetcar yard and the route up Leslie. I…

I attended the meeting and found that it was not an "anti-TTC meeting" - it was a small group of volunteers trying to inspire their neighbours to come together to identify issues / concerns / ideas for further discussion / exploration and to activel…

I 100% agree, the minutes, to my knowledge, have not been prepared so my suggestion was to ensure anyone interested in them now would be added to the distribution list if they had not signed up with the other neary 200 people last week. A web site i…
